    How do i remove screen on fs740/w?

    Hey guys I need help on replacing the latch on my vgn-fs740/w laptop. First I need to open up the screen. I removed the 4 screw on the front of display, but can't seem to take off the plastic bezel. I don't want to break if off so what do I need to do? Please help thx.

    check sonys site theirs usualy a repair manual my hp had one for hp you gota take screws out from bottom and slide kb foward so you can remove it then theirs screws holding latches on.

    the bezel is held by hooks pointing upwards. the actual latches are screwed onto the magnesium casing. the best way to unhook the bezel is to use a thin plastic or metal part to gently push those hooks down. the bezel is kinda fragile though, i broke my one when i replaced the latches.
