Hi I have SZ680 and whenever I play games I plug my usb mouse in. But the touchpad is always near my thumb (because of WSAD buttons)and I unintentionally put part of my hand there all the time :(

Fujitsu had this neat feature that when I plug my usb mouse in, the laptop automatically turns the touchpad off. Is there anyway I can do this with Sony laptops?

    thanks for reading

They use the ALPS touchpad. There is an option to disable the touchpad while typing. You might be able to use that and adjust the delay to it's max.

I'd love to make an icon or get to this easily - anyone find a way to turn it on and off?

    Thanks

Also connect a gaming keyboard (or standard keyboard) to your notebook!
