    How do you know ur SZ runs 2 cores?

    If you're running Vista, there's a Vista gadget for the sidebar which tells you the percentage of each core you're laptop's using. As for XP, I'm not sure but there should be a similar program. You're notebook will usually be using a small percentage of each core (Right now for me it's 17% and 13%, respectively).

    I remember somewhere is this forum mentioned that there are some updates for SZ Vaio in order to run 2 core at the same time. But I cant find that Thread!

    right click "taskbar", go to "task manager", then click the "performance" tab.
    your both core usage will show up instanly.
