I've taken all the screws out of the base, including the ones behind the battery, but I still can't seem to get into it. I don't want to prize it open with anything because the plastic looks like it might crack or bend.

I'm trying to open it to get a look at the fan which is making a terrible din.

    Anyone got any tips?

Umm there might be screws under the rubber feet. Some systems tend to have atleast. Worth a shot if you cant find any more.

Please post photos while you have it apart! You are treading on, as yet, untouched territory. I don't think anyone here has tryed to take one apart yet.
