I have an AR series Vaio and ive just got a new palm rest for it, can anyone tell me how easy they are to fit as i was expecting just a bit of plastic but its quite an in depth part where i think the keyboard and a few other things have to come off.

Its a Vaio VGN-AR51SU i have identical to this

Removing the palmrest on older VAIOs has been a non-issue for a while but in the last couple years, the palm rest is part of the keyboard framing making it more complicated. Just about every screw on the underside with an arrow would have to come out.

    Thanks Mr B.

Like i said above, i was just expecting a bit of plastic that would have been a straight forward swap over, this palm rest part looks quite complex for a novice like me :D
