The site does not really go into details when on the *checkout cart* for the extended warranty plans. It does not stat what the turnaround policy is on the onsite service, etc.

Anyone ever have or used Sony's onsite warranty service ?

I am also considering the same thing, I believe it is $280 for the 3 year from Sony. My old laptop died after 3.5 years so I am a little weary about getting a warranty. Is the onsite service worth it? Any experiences?

I have the 3 year onsite / accidental warranty that can be purchased from provantage for 215$. I have sold it to many people also and they have had tech's come to there house and replace things such as keyboard and etc. Sponsi is one of the people who you can talk to you if you need more feedback about it.
