I think I'm going to be buying the Sony SR 590. One thing about it that slightly upsets me is that it has no separate keyboard keys for Home, End, Page Up/Down. I'm a student and do a lot of writing, and I always use the Home/End buttons, as they're very convenient. I see that on the SR, I would have to use theim with the function key and the arrows. I've never done that before but I guess I'll get used to it. I was wondering if anybody can tell me if this is going to be uncomfortable or if its all in my head. Thank you.

you shouldn't be using the end and home as much and if you use the sr you can easily just use the fn and down or up arrow without much thought. i considered the issue however it's a non issue now. it's very simple.

I have moved across the world with many local keyboards.. I program quite a bit and I would say that it is a matter of a week to get used to any particular keyboard. Its mainly in the head. This also means that if you use your notebook a lot, and then go to a desktop, you might have a little trouble typing with the other keyboad as you might be looking for your fn keys.
