Im a dell fan and i am currently in the process of replacing all my old laptops

    I sold my Dell M70 and D410 ;)
And I am replacing them with a Dell SXPS 1640, Dell Mini 12, and Mini 9.

I plan to use them for 2-3 yrs.

I don't sell laptops, but it's true my original IBM P90 is not used anymore, just kept as a trophy in a storage room.

I had Sony TX as my main travel notebook before and now it's in stadium of revitalization for home use for my wife and son.

Z is my main computer and I hope to keep using it at least for 5 years. My plan is to exchange HDD for SSD after cca 3 years, when the prices will be more reasonable.

What I'm worried about is the fan, as in country we're staying now is no sea, so the air is quite dried, it means a lot of small flying dust everywhere.

5 years? I'm lucky if I get 18 months out of a laptop. I could see the Z sticking around for awhile, but my needs change over time and being on the road, as is the way these things go, eventually they need repair.
