At full charge, 100%, how many hours should the battery last?
There is a switch for 'Stamina' or 'Speed', whats the difference between the two in regards to how long it will last on battery?

It depends what laptop, what number of cells the battery has etc.

    Care to elaborate?

If youre referring to the SZ the difference between speed and stamina regarding battery is about 20% longer battery life with stamina. You sohuld be able to get anywhere from 2-7h battery life.

Hmm, ive never had to find it, always just remembered. maybe take out the battery and read it, it may say it on there. How big is the VGN-SZ120P's screen anyway?

    Usually...

    6-cell 15" - 2 1/2 to 3 hours
    9-cell 15" - 4-6 1/2 hours
    12-cell 15 - 8-9 hours

    6-cell 17" - 1-2 hours
    9-cell 17" - 3-4 hours
    12cell 17" - usually 6 hours

-Also depends on what you are doing and also screen brightness and how many accesories attached and the different components inside.

Sony's specs sheet advertised the VGN-SZ120P/B as having a battery-life of up to 6 hrs on a standard battery.

Realistically, depending on individual's actual usage, you can take it to be any duration between 3 to 4 hrs.

The VGN-SZ120P/B is supplied with standard battery, unless a custom order.

To differentiate between standard / large capacity battery, read its item code :
    - Standard Lithium-ion battery : VGP-BPS2C
    - Large Capacity Battery : VGP-BPL2C

The VGN-SZ120P/B is of 13.3” WXGA display. ( I have yet to come across a SZ of other sizes, than 13.3". )

    Hope the above answers.
