I am thinking about buying one of these soon. I have read reviews of previous models that say the fan is very noisy. How loud is the fan while surfing the web or checking your e-mail?

    Thanks

Quiet under those circumstances... the fan can get loud under a full load though.

    it's not that loud.
I think the loudest thing is my clicking the mouse buttons

Trust me when I say the SZ is pretty quiet.

My SZ due to its airplane mishap is being repaired and I'm using my older Sharp and this thing sounds like it's going to take off.

    not loud at all
Loudest thing is my mouse with the clicking and the scrolling.
It's insignificant compared to normal background noise.
