Is it worth spending a lot of money on these laptops? Would they last for more than 4 years without falling apart or something? Or am I better off buying something else that's better (ex. Fujitsu)?

Here are the laptops I'm interested in purchasing:

I'm looking for laptops that can handle multi-tasking; opening a lot of Internet browsers, word processing programs, etc. and good quality build

With Sony's, there are better, and there are worse. You aren't exactly paying for build quality, but they aren't slapped together either.

With Sony's, you pay for the Sony name and the design. The SZ has a unique design and the hybrid graphics is nice. It's safe to say that it is much better built than the Dell XPS m1330. Also, the screen on it, be it the LED or CCFL one, is second to none.
