I cannot find the hot key or a switch on my z540 to close the touchpad when I am typing because I often unconsciously touch the touchpad and make the input focus skip somewhere....that is really whiny..

    Thanks

im not sure if you can. ive been searching too. it seems like in the viao control center -> keyboard and mouse

you can turn off the touchpad. but that seems like too much work

Do you have this (see attachment) in the control settings under "mouse/touchpad" in the control panel?

    Hello,

I know open and close the touchpad by software. We can open and close touchpad in mouse settings or Vaio control center.

But I want to open and close touchpad by one button like in Toshiba (function key), or in HP (special button on touchpad)

Can we assign a button (S1 button, S2 button or Function key) to open and close toucpad? (In Vaio Z series). If it is possible, how?
