    Hey,

    I wonder hoe to insdtall the Sony Firmware Extension Parser. There is no install/setup.exe and i dont know how to install it, like it is described in the guides.

    Can anybody help me?

    I think it is included in windows update..

    mhh i want to follow the guides because of the fn buttons and so i want to install it manually to be sure :)

    Go to device manager, you will see an unknown device. Update the driver of this device by with your SFEP's driver

    i tried but there are 2 unknown devixes and both dont work with sfep

    mh ive got windows 7 ultimate 64bit. Does this make any differnce?
    Because my os is not supported.
    And there is this? At the "User Account Control" screen, click "Yes".

    But not Home premium, i got ultimate...

    does the fn buttons work without sfep?

    The fn buttons won't work without Sony shared library, SFEP driver, and Vaio event service.
