    Hi guys,

i got a SZ491N pre installed with Vista Business

i have done a clean install with Xp keeping the Recovery partition as it is..

Now i want to restore my laptop to factory default, and unfortunately i did not make any Recovery DVDs

is there a way to use recovery without using recovery Disks? (the way IBM does)

or there is any site where i can download the recovery DVDs?

all sort of advices are appreciated

    thnx

Atleast you should be able to order a recovery set from your local sony dealer. If they wont send you them you could always go to the nearest shop that sells vaios and just ask the sales personel if it would be possible for you to burn a set of recovery cd's with one of their vaios available for viewing. It should be the same cd's (PLEASE: correct if I'm wrong). Just make sure its the same model.
