    I have sony VGN-NS190D. how do i set my laptop to charge up to 80% and stop charging the battery after it reaches 80% limit? thanks

    For some reason under my power management option there is no battery care function. Do they have this function for all sony laptop or only few models have it?

    Go to the Sony Support page for your model, and download any updates to the Vaio Control Center, or the Notebook Utilities.

    It's in a different place for me - it's just under "Power Options" rather than having its own menu

    How do you set a custom percentage? The dropdown is labelled "custom" but only lets you pick 80% or 50%

    mine I set to 80./. and charging stops right at 80
