    press F12 before you get into the VIAO LOGO startup. If it doesnt work, press Delete also before the viao logo.

    thanks graph, i did F2, and i think it was the bios. Im trying to find out why my USB ports are NOT 2.0

    Im trying to install a tv tuner card driver and it said "please plug in to a high speed port, as the one you have it pluged into now is not high speed"...click here for list of high speed ports....

    wtf does this mean? My USB ports arent 2.0? Why wouldnt they be?

    thats weird. Did you make sure the tuner card's AC adapter was plugged in?

    yip, on the phone with sony now. this is odd...don you think this looks wierd??? Considering i only have 3 usb ports, but it says 5 in the pic? wtf, and shouldnt they all say 2 at the end and not just one?

    If you ahve any built in devices i.e. cameras or finger print readers they are normaly powered by inbuilt usb now, which should account for the extra ports

    ps. good luck changeing anything in the bios, for some reason Sony reconfigure the bios to be very restrictive (not like every other laptop manufacturer)
