    How to enable Mode Switch in my Sony SR after a clean vista installation

    As the thread's title says, how can i enable the switch button to work ? (i've installed everything on Sony's website). Thank you for helping me.

    What exactly do you mean with Mode switch? S1 S2 buttons?

    Thank you for answering. But i didn't mean the S1 S2 buttons. In SR series, there are there modes: Business, Entertainment and Private. There is a button to switch between these profiles. I don't know how to make it works (and also 5 hotkeys). Please help.

    PS: All function keys are working (brightness, volume...etc)

    You have to install one of the VAIO software packages. I don't know what it's called on the restore dvd, but the program in task manager is called VMSwitch.exe (VAIO Mode Switch).

    I got it, thank you so much. But I can only find XP version on Sony Asia's website. Seems to work in Vista.

    You should be able to download it from sony's esupport site

    i need this drivers, as long as in my SR these buttons are not anymore since my brother put his hands on it!!!
    from sony they told my that i have to make full system recovery....

    As I said, just go to Sony Asia website and download the XP version, It works perfectly in both OSes
