    Unlike the network driver on my destop, I don't see there is any property in the "Intel 82577LC Gigabit Network Connection" Driver->Advanced tab to enable Jumbo Frame....

    the driver version is " 11.6.92.0"

    Does anyone know how to enable jumbo frame on your VPC-Z1?

    Thanks

    Was it replaced with Adaptive Interframe Spacing? ftp://download.intel.com/support/network/sb/advset.pdf

    Adaptive Interframe Spacing has nothing to do with jumbo frame;

    from your pdf there is another section for jumbo frames

    I wonder whether it can be set via netsh

    If you don't mind me asking, what is your network situation? Other than increasing DSL PPPoE connections and helping your torrent faster, jumbo frames is only useful in high speed networks of 1Gbps+. By increasing your MTU, you increase your latency...bad for games. Weird how it's not there though, I am even using newer network driver from Intel vs. Sony website.

    http://ark.intel.com/Product.aspx?id=35651 Says jumbo frames are supported...we'll find it.

    This is a great article on network optimization btw.., http://www.intel.com/support/network/sb/cs-025829.htm

    Try setting the MTU manually in the registry via the correct network ID, http://www.windowsreference.com/win...t-the-mtu-size-in-windows-xp-2003-2000-vista/

    To check to see if manually setting your MTU worked, ping a website, get the ip then do, ping -f -l *MTU you set* *ip address of website you ping*
