    How to fix your VAIO SZ spacebar !

    Hi,

    I've joined this forum cause of this thread..

    I've tried it with the tape.. took 6 strips... its not as clicky but works a charm

    one thing: I found the space bar lower since I replaced it... is that normal??

    hello everybody,

    I would like to know if the keyboard of the last vayo sz series is the same that on the previous series with a core duo which was "weak"?

    Phew- working keyboard. Finally, after a year I got around to doing this.

    I found these work well:

    Packet of BHS Mini Bows (twelve in packet). Snip bows off and stick the sticky side of the foam pad that the bows are usually used to stick to the present/gift with; Stick this to the where the post-it pad is put in the youtube video. I have 10 mini bows left in case it wears down. (the eleventh was a failed experiment)

    Mini Bows - Part # 062/622727/1702 Available from most BHS shops in Blighty. Made in China.

    I just used this method to fix my Fujitsu Lifebook! Works wonders now!

    Is there any way to get to view the youtube piece on fixing the spacebar.....it appears to unavailable now!
