    Hi,

I am considering buying a Sony SZ and the only thing it is missing is s-video. Is there a way to get s-video from the SZ? Does the docking station come with it? Can I buy a VGA adapter?

    Thanks,

    Diego

Look up the specs of this docking station. It's gonna say whether it has s-video or not. We don't know which docking station ur talking about, so how can we tell u the answer.

Other than that, I don't think there's any other way.

There is definitely no s-video on the notebook itself. I'm not sure about the dock, but on there, it has a DVI port. What device are you planning to connect to?

Awesome, I was searching for one of these and came across one, but the comments infered that it would not work with every laptop. The one seems to be universal. Thanks a lot.

If you have RGB input on your TV (most modern flat screens do), you can use the VGA out to the RGB

This is what I currently use on my TV, and media center looks great on a 50" plasma.
