Hello forumers, like title says I can't install drivers for my Vaio with Intel graphics... Intel already has new drivers, but sony didn't post new drivers since august... when I try to install 'em, my laptop gives me "The driver being installed is not validated for this computer" error... is there any way to bypass this "defense"... some graphics softwares won't run because my Vaio don't have this updates...
P.S I have VPCEB23FM

You need to edit one of the files that comes with the drivers
Post your question in the E Owners thread - they will be able to help you! Read it first - there might be an answer already. -
If the driver does not install, then do not do it.
If it's not approved for working with the VAIO, then you could have issues with the driver in how it interacts with other aspect of your hardware. ie: brightness settings. -
Could, but not must! I am using unofficial drivers for my NVIDIA since last summer
If properly edited, they work just as good as the original with every other hardware. If not - rolling back a driver is not really a big deal
the first unofficial I had did not allow automatic brightness dimming - the guy who adapted it had not activated this feature.
Second one I had, a later version, was crashing now and then... say 1-2 times a month.
The one I currently use works perfectly fine
Would be more careful with Audio drivers though - had some serious problems when I installed newer, unofficial ones. Now I ask myself why I even did it - the sound would not get better this way - unless you have a problem with the audio, don't touch them. Video is another story - there is always some room for improvement

I modded NVIDIA's 265.99 (or 256.99, whichever) to work with the 425M and the users who tried it had problems with the VAIO interfaces. You're right though, easy to roll back if no workie.

I'm currently using 260.99 for ma 310M without any problems! 258.96 was the one crashing every now and then I think.
But he is asking about Intel Integrated Video, so I have no clue. Best thing would be to ask at the corresponding thread - E owners. -
I was working with someone on making an NVIDIA package capable of being installed and she got further with my mods than before, but it still wouldn't work with her integrated graphics. It's a different beast, that is.
How to install newer drivers from 3rd parties on my Sony Vaio
