    Related to this....

I know there are several places that offer the 3M clear sheet products for various laptops. Any idea where to get this for the FW (I'm sure there is probably no one making a version for the FW already)....or at least a sheet of it that can be cut.

I'm interested in covering the plam area and touchpad....since those areas get a lot of wear.

because of the FW "unique" screen size, chances are we wont see a specific FW screen protector or etc, but i have no problem cutting one into the appropriate size

What's wrong with a microfiber cloth and tap water?

Microfiber cloth. No water necessary, thats just extra friction. If you do need to clean the screen (fingerprints), dedicate a second cloth for the wet cleaning. For the cleaning solution, use 7 parts distilled water to 3 parts isopropyl alcohol. And remember: make soft contact when cleaning the screen. I have scratched more matte lcds from applying too much pressure when cleaning than from any accident.
