I know that in the power options you can change what pressing the power button does, but "lock" isn't an option. Before I upgraded to Windows7, I discovered how to set this but I can't figure out how to do it anymore. And Google is not helping at all, lol. Anyone know?

create a password then set power to sleep.
when it wakes up you have to log in.

That is helpful but I meant the actual Sony Vaio power button. Not anything on Windows. -

alternatively you can just hit "windows logo key" + "L" to lock your screen. -
