I just opened 2 sony screen. There are hidden screws inside the spongy thing. I dig them out and took the screws out. Then I used some force to try and pull the panel off. But it doesn't come off easily. Then I found out you need to carefully dig your fingernails between the lcd screen and the inner panel you can pull it off easily like that. I tried digging my nails from the outer frame at beginning cos I didn't want to scratch the lcd screen but it doesn't come off that easily. You would need some brute force. Its much easier if you just dig your nails into the bit where the lcd screen touchs the inner frame.

    Thanks BaNZ ,

I tried the inside before but was afraid to pressure the screen , did it again with more force and it worked .

Here 2 tips for if someone else follows :

    1. There are 2 hidden screws at the top of the lid near the battery , once I was able to "peel" part of the bezel I found them out . While I broke one of them , now that you know where they are you won't have to .

    2. If you afraid to break the fragile looking plastics , close your eyes while twisting it with brute force , it really helps ( me anyway ) :)

Heres some rep for you .
