I've been trying and trying these past few days to order an SZ680CTO from the US but it doesn't seem possible. I have a US address I can ship it to even but a US Credit Card is necessary... Can anybody think of or know any solution to this?

I'm in Belgium and was planning to have Sony send to a friend who lives in the States but they don't accept the Belgian visa-card...

Without a US-based method to pay you won't be able to do that.

Most US shops accept payment by Bankwire. I know Techonweb.com does.

They will give you an IBAN/swift number, if you have electronic banking it's easy to pay them.

if you buy from sparco.com you can do an international wire transfer and they will deliver the computer to Belgium. Sparco are good value and trustworthy (big, and they answer their phones...). I brought from them - very quick service. Also, wire transfer is way cheaper than credit card because the exchange rate is so much better.

yeah Synt, at what store did you end up buying and how fast did you get it?

I ordered at Techonweb.com, it took more than 3 weeks.

I heard someone in the UK getting a SZ680 from Sparco in a couple of days.

Try amazon.com . Maybe they are a little expensive but they receive most of the international credit cards .
