    I found the answer of how to restore of FN key on a Vietnamese forums. And I think this might help some people out there. I don't think I find a guide here about this issue though.

    The poster found this to work on VIsta, I haven't try on XP yet, i'll try this afternoon.



    - IF you have Sony Event SErvice => remove it.
    -This procedure is apply to Sony SZ, if you use another series, please search for compatible files.
    - Please note that you have to do by order, don't mess up the order of this procedure. If the installation requires to restart, please do so.

    1. Install Sony Notebook control device driver (SODOTH-00445800-US.EXE )

    2. Install Sony Shared library ( SOASSL-00598801-US.EXE )

    3. Install Sony Event Service ( SOAVES-01205105-US.EXE )

    4. Sony Utilities ( SOOOTH-36100000-US.EXE )

    Restart the computer.

    I've heard that this work I don't know about XP.. so if anyone have any comments please post on this thread.
