    How can i reinstall windows vista on my Vaio?

    sony didnt give me a vista disc and i dont know if/how the recovery discs do it.

    i want to reinstall windows vista completely on the sony vaio fw.

    the recovery discs are images of the factory default settings/program. You'll get back all the bloatware (ie Norton). You might want to cough cough try tor... cough cough rent sites and search for your version of Vista. Try to find original discs and use your serial on the bottom of your notebook to activate

    Try this thread. it may do the trick but can you let us know if it is successful or whatever happens. first make your recovery disks and back up any of your data.

    so i need to download a version of vista.
    i got a cough cough torr cough cough ent site version and if i ever need to reinstall vista, i can use that?
    then download all the drivers?
