    Hi guys,
I recently noticed that my spacebar is not working properly in my new Sony AW.

If I click on the left side of the bar, it works. But if I click on the right side of the bar, it doesnt work.

I was wondering if you guys knew of a tutorial on how to remove the spacebar so that I can reattach it properly.

    Thanks
    K

i just pop keys easily in my HP dv5 ,
but i would recommend that u go to a hardware repair store, cause if u broke 1 key u ll need to buy a new keyboard :), little cash will save u the effort and stress

I'm having the same problem on my AW too. Right front edge in particular is almost non-working. Pressing solid on the key middle or towards the back is ok but my thumb operates towards the right and sometimes forward.

Did you find a cure for your spacebar problem?

I assume you're still under warranty. If you are, just take it to a Sony repair center. I had problems with my FW and the right click button. I thought it was completely broken but it seems you had to press it a certain way and harder than usual but since this was abnormal behaviour, they agreed to replace the whole touchpad with buttons and I'll be waiting a week until that's done.
