    How to remove the antenna on the sz2xx?

    Can someone tell me how to remove the antenna on the sz series?

    Because I do not use it,
    I think is somewhat annoying
    I always have pay extra attention to it
    It doesn't increase the range of wifi.

    These are my reasons that I really need to get this antenna removed.

    Please can someone teach me how to make it without avoiding the warranty.

    I think I don't understand. The SZ2 antennas are built into the screen, how can they be annoying??? There are not external ones, at least not on my SZ2.

    He's talking about the Cingular EDGE antenna which is on the US models, not the normal WiFi.

    I think someone here mentioned you can just pull really hard and it'll come off. It will leave a gaping hole though. YMMV. I'm sure there may be less drastic ways of making it less annoying. How about just taping it to the side of laptop so it doesn't move around?

    See, this is why I express disapproval when people buy 70's and 80's.
    You'd better off figuring out ways to get rid of all that Smart-Wii junk.
