    How to replace CMOS battery ?

    I have a n VGN-FZ410, the time and date reset every night while laptop is off. I suspect the CMOS battery but can't find it. Would greatly help if anyone knows where it is. Thanks............

    It's located beneath the bottom right corner of the touchpad.

    Sorry, I just copied my previous reply verbatim from someone who replied in one of my other threads, but I do remember seeing an FZ disassembly thread somewhere. Maybe you can find it on Google.

    The CMOS battery can be seen in this picture and it's apparently located at the bottom side of the notebook, so you'll have to disassemble the whole notebook, unfortunately.
