So my enter key was misbehaving on my new Z2 (it would sometimes not register when I pressed it), so I thought I would pop it out. Here's how it went:
I used a card to pry at the right-bottom and left-bottom corners of the key.

This caused the bottom part of the key to flip up, and outwards.

I was then able to take the entire key off.

Thanks for the guide with pics.
Did you solve the problem? -

Thank you for the guide. That's useful to know that's it's possible to take off a key.
I had a dead zone on the right most side of the spacebar itself when I had bought it brand new. My spaces would not register when I tap near that dead zone. It was really frustrating when you're typing something really quickly and some of the missed spaces causes you to go back to add the missing space.
With that information, I have now taken off my spacebar key and realigned the carrier holding the metal hooks, making the spacebar working properly. So no more dead zones!
So thanks again! -
Taking a key off is easy, what about putting it back on though?

This thread is very useful! (I didn't dare take them out beforehand).
So how it's much easier to change particular buttons (i.e. without changing the ENTIRE keyboard).
Thing is, is it possible to buy the keys separately online? I am unable to find any online... -
I just used this guide to swap my keys to turn a German keyboard into a UK keyboard. Thanks for the info! It should be noted that the metal holder is only there for the wider keys. The small key caps sit on just the white square as in the third photo above and can be easily popped off.
