I'm thinking of buying a new/used vaio bz for work.travel.
I would want to get rid of the previous hardrive and swap in a new solid state drive.
The question is, can I do this with the trusted platform module that is built in-security on the bz editions.
I read somewhere that it's impossible to swap hardrives with this module and therefore installing a new drive involves sending the notebook to sony for proper encoding.

You can swap with no problems or special configurations required.

    Just replace and boot.
