    VAIO SZ120P/B
    Intel Core Duo 1.83Ghz
    1GB DDR2
    100GB HDD SATA
    13" wide screen

    $1900-2000

    Is this a good laptop?

I like it because it's powerful, small and light! I've looked into the IBM thinkpad T60 but they are so expensive with the ATi graphic cards and 1GB of ram.

I can't find good review for the SZ120, so please give me some opinion before I throw $2000 away...

There was a review written for the SZ110 recently by user "Liar" on this forum. You should be able to find it under the review section of this forum.

Here are some reviews for the SZ series:

    Reviews from other sites:
PC Magazine review of the SZ-170P
TrustedReviews Review of the SZ1VP (European model)

    Reviews from this site:
    110B Preliminary review by klas
    110B Thoughts from javylsu
    110B Review by me

The 110B is most similar to the 120. The only difference is that the 120 has Win XP Pro while the 110B has Win XP Home.

The 170P is a Premium type SZ with a few differences.

I have no experience with the European SZ1VP and I don't know how different it is.

There are also a multitude of other opinions at various shopping sites, and of course, at this very forum. Just browse a few pages or search for them.

Hmmm, there seems to be a lot of questions regarding this topic. It might be time for me to do a compare/contrast with my SZ160 vs the SZ110 that I returned...
