I just purchased a Vaio and I created a recovery discs. It created the recovery files from 3 CD's.
I was wondering, how exactly does it work?
When something bad happens and I want to restore it to factory conditions, I just put in the first CD and it will start the re-installation? And then it will prompt me to insert the 2nd and 3rd discs?

    Thanks for any information!

It will not automatically start the re-install. It will present a menu to offer you some options, one of which is the reinstall. The rest of your assumption is correct. It will prompt you when it needs the other disks.
