    Gidday again guys

My SZ 58 has the Seagate 160g "hybrid hard drive" and I am thinking of changing it out for a 250g Hitachi. Can the hybrid drive be changed out for a standard 5400 drive? Any reccommendations or otherwise on the Hitachi?

    Regards to all

Yes, you can change the drive no problem. Hybrid drive is just the same drive with extra flash memory in it. I am using Western Digital 250 GB/5400 on my SZ110, after I read not much performance gain out of hybrid drive compared to normal drive. But you can use any brand, as long as it has SATA interface.
