Based on recent events, I believe a Sony VAIO V will come into consumer markets in the fall (or spring) as Sony introduces another new line of laptops. This will either be a replacement for the X, or another ultra slim laptop. It might be slightly bigger in width, height, and depth; but it will contain a c2d culv and possibly dedicated graphics w/ hdmi output.

This new line may be marketed towards business AND the casual markets.

If they introduce a larger-screened version than the current F-series, as a replacement for the AW series, then it could very well be an "A-series".

I think the AW series is going to be dead for awhile. I don't think Sony has any plans on any replacements.

If anything, the F series IS the replacement.
