    I Got My Sz Back From Sony!!!

    It took nearly 2 weeks but they not only fixed my broken optical drive they fixed all the loose and scratched plastic parts (scratches on the tube with lights caused by the screen). they replaced the keyboard (i guess because of spacebar issue) and battery without me asking. of course now the battery is loose since the it doesnt have the velcro stickies. but overall i'm pleased.

    i'm having trouble with my ipod not updating, but i had that problem before. it seems to be lacking something but i've reinstalled the software and it just wont update. it says there is no disk in the drive please insert a disk. what disk what does it want?

    Where exactly does it say insert a disk? Ipod Updater, Itunes or something else?

    its a windows message and itunes stops responding.

    i just spent like an hour uninstalling everything apple and reinstalling. i think i have it licked

    glad it worked out. Now if I can just get Sony to take back one of the ext batteries i ordered from them. :)
