When I got my S580, there was an icon in the system tray, which let me arrange wireless speed and turn on and off the connection types such as bluetooth, wireless 2 or wireless 5 something... I stopped that software running at the startup in the beginning, but now I need that software. That should be somewhere in the program files but I couldn't find it. Please help me. Where is the program?

So you don't see it listed in programs either...browse through the program folder on your hard drive and see if you can find it. You might also want to check control panel, that's where Fujitsu puts theirs.

No it's not in the start menu or in control panel. That would be a program of intel, but I am not sure. But it is for sure a program of 'wireless a,b,g with bluetooth' stuff. Someone with vaio S580 should know this from the system tray. The name would be enough...

Hmm, I have a S5XP (the european version of the S580) but don't really know what icon you mean. There is this square green icon which lets you change from 2,4Ghz WLan to 5Ghz and lets you switch the Bluetooth on and off, do you mean that one?
-
Yes, that one!!! Great now we have it. So can you identify which program it is?
-
How about re-installing the setup file?
-
Which setup file? I don't have any setup files for the program. I don't know which software it is. But it is the one with green (/blue) square icon which lets you change from 2,4Ghz WLan to 5Ghz and lets you switch the Bluetooth on and off.
All I need is the name of the software, it shouldn't be that difficult... Come on
I cannot find the wireless setup software
