This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     after being annoyed with sony not having an updated upek security suite software I found a compatible version that works with firefox 3.
    here is the url to the file

    After you install it, it will ask you if you want to install the firefox patch.

    Now my fingerprint reader works perfectly with firefox 3.

    Allows you to used your finger print reader to login into webpages when using firefox 3. if you use IE you don't need it. don't know about chrome, might want to try it out...

    Upek upgrades from OEM versions to full are not free. This is a pirated product, and if you want the software legally, you have to pay for it (a reasonable $29.99, I believe).
