Ok...here is what ive got. I have the Vaio VGN-AR520E...for reasons i wont go into, the part of the drive with the OS and all the stuff i had, is formatted and completely empty. The recovery partition is still intact and sitting there. I ordered the recovery disks and have those...but I can't seem to get the recovery disks to bring it back to is factory settings. Is there a certain series of things i have to do? The disk brings up the menu, but i cant find the correct files to launch the recovery of the partition files. Could someone give me the correct set of steps to get the baby back up and running? Thanks in advance.
