Okay, just like the topic says... Is it possible to use the Ultimate DVD to clean install Home premium on my SR???

OR... does Sony even offer Vista Ultimate drivers for the SR?? from what I read you need drivers to be VERY SPECIFIC...

    thanks!

Drivers are actually specific for a particular OS (i.e. XP or Vista or Linux), and for a particluer BIT (32/64). So, in general drivers for Vista HP 32/64 will work for Ultimate 32/64.

If that disc is Retail, and has a Retail Serial you won't have any problem, but I don't think you would be able to use the Vista HP OEM serial for it.
