Which Sony laptops (models) are known as the better ones (for quality, durability, screen resolution, etc....)?
Thank you for your help,

Anything you spend $2500 on is going to be a decent laptop, from nearly any manufacturer. The only time Sony really stands out in my opinion though is for smaller screen sizes. I wouldn't limit yourself to just them.
As for which are best from Sony, Sony doesn't make many different levels of laptops. They tend to offer one model per screen size, that's it. Specs depend on what they offer at the time in each. Since you want big I would recommend looking into the AW series, but buy a bigger battery if you do, it's pretty poor.
I recommend you look also into Asus and Lenovo.
If you are willing to spend as much as you claim I would also look into the big buck HP and Dell models too, but you should be able to get something very nice in that screen size from Lenovo, Asus or Sony. -
Check out the FW series...it should do the trick nicely for you, while leaving some coin in your pocket.

FW has issues with the hinge barrels - they break off easily!!!
