    I have heard iit is not possible to have vista and seven on Z series is it true?

    I have a vaio Z 598u and I want to have both windows vista and seven on it. But I have heard that it is not possible to have two operating systems on Z series. Does anybody have any idea? :confused:

    That's odd. It is possible on every other laptop in existence.

    It is possible to have 2 os's yes...many of us have done it. Can't say I've done vista and 7, but linux and 7 and also xp and 7.

    I believe it's possible. May I ask why would you want to have both Vista and 7?

    I want to have 2 OSs because I want the vista one but it is not fully compatible with some softwares related to my job, and I want to try it with seven.

    Nothing in the Z laptop prohibits running Vista and Win7. Not sure where you heard this from, but it isn't accurate.
