Hey everyone,
I know Sony is notorious for installing massive amount of bloatware and stuff. I was wondering what I should do to improve efficiency and battery life.
This is my first time owning a non Mac laptop and I was wondering what are some of the things I should do.
Thanks

Welcome to the world of Sony
Well, I suppose you can do a clean instal if your happy with the procedure.
Honestly:
You need to know what you want to do.
For example:
On my SZ I get rid of all the trial and the Google stuff, then do a registry clean (CCleaner & Wisecleaner), however, the registry clean-up is not recommended if you don't know what your doing.
Also: Have you made recovery discs?
Now:
If you could list your software and tell us (everybody here in the forum) what you want to do with your laptop, I bet it will be much easier to help you. -

With regards to the inaccurate battery life meter. Is it still an issue? Are there patches or workarounds I can do to solve this?
I just bought Sony SR, what are some of the stuff I should do?
