    Title explains it all.

The seller had a lock down on where to ship the item. I noticed it at the last minute.

I believe it it too good to be true so you probably saved yourself some grief. When I chase down some 'unbelievable' deals, almost always there's an angle on it that cause the seller not to respond when I seek to clarify. OF course, there is the occasionally great deals that are legit but most often, not quite that good.

That's also quite possible actually. I never thought of it that way hmm.
Do you really think that there is any risk as long as I pay with paypal?

PayPal gives a false sense of security, that is all. You can find plenty of examples where PayPal outright screws people online - they take care of themselves and no one else.

Not only that, its not so simple to get your money back you have to go through a whole complicated dispute process.
Its easier to just dispute with your credit card if you paid via that instead.
The others are right, too good to be true.
I'm sure once you won the auction it would be some Nigerian.
