    I need some help for my Vaio

    Hey,

    I've been having some problems with volume on my vaio VGN CR 11S L. When I turn on sometimes I have volume and sometimes I don't. Sometimes the volume will be around for a while and then suddenly dissapear. It's totally perplexing, anyone have any advice or support regarding such a problem.

    ANy help would be appreciated

    I assuming, its in built speakers, so is that problem happening with external speakers also ?

    Its still a prob if I plug in headphones so yes external speakers are affected too

    Try to reinstall drivers, else it might be hardware problem. If its still under warranty, better contact Sony tech.

    go to device manager, remove the audio driver for the card, reboot and windows will reinstall it.

    Thanks for the advice. I will uninstall now and see what happens. Bit worried I may do some damage as Im a bit of a novice at these things but hey here goes
