    (I originally posted this in the TZ owner's lounge, but it doesn't look like it gets visited too often, so I apologise for posting it here too...)

    I would like to upgrade my TZ21VN/X from the very slow 1.8" 4200rpm 100GB HDD to an SSD of some sort, in order to breathe a bit of life back into the old girl...

    Can anyone recommend a decent SSD to put into a TZ..? I found this, though I've never heard of KingSpec, are they any good..?

    (I also found some great instructions for taking the TZ apart, here...)

    Cheers.

    There is an extensive thread (actually a sticky) in the Hardware Components and Aftermarket Upgrades section. You'll find the Intel model is generally the best suggestion from a quality perspective (the one I bought btw).
    Very pleased with the results in my FW - overall more responsive. The thread is a long one tho - several hundred pages.

    @Rachel: Thanks for that... :)

    @J&SinKTO: Thanks, but as Rachel said in the forum she provided the link to, Intel don't do 1.8" ZIF drives... :(
