I'm considering this laptop as it seems like the best deal on a Sony Vaio. $699 Canadian and it comes with HDMI, and BluRay. Not sure what the consensus of this laptop is though as I cant seem to find any reviews.

Does anyone own this laptop or know more about it.

I basically would like to use this laptop for internet, and some other app's like Photoshop. Also want to hook this to my HDTV via HDMI to watch HD movies, would this laptop have any issues?

If you are going to do Photoshop you might be better off buying the NW model that has the ATI Radeon HD 4570 discrete graphics card and not the lower end NW with just the Intel GMA 4500M graphics. Also, the NW does not have bluetooth so you would have to add that via a BT dongle. Other than that, it is a nice all around notebook that looks good.

I have this laptop and do everything on it that you said you wanted to do with it in your first post. I don't find anything wrong with it - it's a pretty nice laptop. Note though that it has a Blu-Ray reader, not burner (at least the one I bought from Best Buy).

If the model he is looking at is the UK model, then it probably does not come with blu ray.

So weird that I cant find any reviews on this. Was this model ever reviewed on this site?

If this can do the stuff I need than I think I might get this. I was thinking of getting the asus 1201N, but would you say this is the much better choice for about $160 more?

You can find all sorts of NW series reviews. But there are dozens of pre-configured NW's out there and they don't do reviews of all of them, so it's not too much of a surprise that your specific model number isn't reviewed. I'd google "VAIO NW Series Review" and find one that reviews a model with processor/video/RAM specs similar to the NW26M you're looking at. Hope that helps!
