    Hi guys.

Just wanted to announce, after long discussion with you lot and I must thank you for all the information you have given me. I have decided to buy the Sony SZ instead of the m1210.

I'm typing away with it right now! I can't believe it! It's so small and fast. I just ran it with the battery off the the box straight away - and it was already at 1:40hrs!

Charging and using it now to configure everything, loving it!!

Enjoy your laptop, and you'd make us only glad if you posted additional battery performance information. :)

Megamoz, I see you own the SZ360. Do you happen to know the difference between the 360 and the 370?

i'm pretty sure the only difference between the 360, and 370 is that the 360 has the cingular edge antenna.

Well I'm sure I will be talking about the battery a lot. But give me some time, only first day. :) But I can tell you that charging while using on 'High Performance' took over 4+ hours, but maybe that's cause of initial charge?

It displayed 8hours! when I unplugged it first, but then stabilised at just under 3hours (2:50~ish!) when on lowest brightness with Wi-Fi on and Firefox open with three tabs.

Now I've been copying stuff from my Western Digital MyBook (great product by the way and looks cool) for about 20-30mins but still has like 1:20hrs left, not bad with so much running at the moment. But yeh - loving it so far, will give more detail soon about the battery.

Oh and I tried to run 3DMark05 on it and it sucked totally, even under GeForce7400, it seems to be a major driver problem. When I analysed the results, it detected the graphics card at somethingMHz/45Mhz??

Also I was in Uni trying to "Add a FTP/network" place like in XP but gave up after 10mins of searching around, couldn't find the damn thing under Vista? Help! Can't upload stuff to my server for uni work.

And where the heck is my Hibernation mode gone? I always use that, I tried setting the S buttons to them, cause there's no option under the Start - shut down menu for hibernation. But even then it goes to Standbye rather than Hibernate? Any help?

Otherwise - LOVE the size of this thing man! So light. Oh and the keyboard, what the hell? So squeegy and loud! Bit like the Mac keyboards. Strange... =/

The only difference between the two is WWAN (Wireless Wide Area Network). My SZ360 doesn't have it while the SZ370 does.
