i got a VGN-CR13B it chinese version with :
t7100, 1GB ram ,VGA ati X2300, hdd 100G ...
i hate chinese so i reinstall window XP for it but .. the utilities software for window XP is not exist so i cant use fn key ...
i turn to reinstall window vista home premium . everything is ok only intant on or instant AV mode dont work , when i shutdown laptop then hit AV button it said that pls reinstall software in window !
i still got recovery partition but it chinese
any one can help me ? i want reinstall it

ok i got it try a hour with vaio recovery in chinese ( then i have recorvery DVD , install new vista home premium english then install instant on with recorver DVD
may be some one try this way
another way to keep licence window vista is use MUI(multi language user interface) it only support for vista ultimate and enterprise but you can manually add Language pack and use regedit to convert vista chinese , japanese , russian to English version
i hope some one code a software to do it automatic
